Our Mission Statement |

At Rooted Wombs, we are deeply committed to empowering Black and Brown women throughout their pregnancy, birth, and postpartum journeys. We believe in creating spaces where every woman feels heard, valued, and supported. One of our missions is to dismantle the disparities between healthcare providers and marginalized communities, advocating for equitable, compassionate care that honors each woman’s unique experience.

We recognize that lasting change begins within community. By coming together in nurturing, inclusive spaces, we can foster trust, healing, and connection. Through personalized doula support, childbirth education, and resources, we stand alongside each woman, ensuring she is not only cared for, but uplifted with dignity and respect—empowered to make informed choices and embrace the beauty of her journey.

Our goal is to give back to the BIPOC community one family at a time, ensuring that our families feel heard, respected, and cared for in every moment of their journey.

We strive to hold the hands of our mothers and honor the sacred process of birth—empowering families with knowledge, emotional support, and holistic services that uplift, heal, and create lasting bonds. We believe that we deserve to hold our mothers’ hands, and our babies, fostering a legacy of love, healing, and generational wellness within our communities.

"From the very first meeting, Treya made me feel like I was her top priority. She listened to all my concerns and made sure I had the information and tools to make the best decisions for me and my baby. I walked into my birth feeling so much more prepared. Treya's emotional and physical support during labor was priceless—she knew exactly how to help me stay calm and focused. I am beyond thankful for her guidance and care!"

Treya is an absolute gem. Her support throughout my pregnancy and birth was invaluable. She took the time to really get to know me, my preferences, and my concerns, and she provided gentle, non-judgmental advice when I needed it most. During labor, she was a calming force, always offering comfort measures and encouragement. Her breastfeeding support afterward was also a huge help. I felt so much more confident as a new mom because of her guidance. I'm forever grateful for her!"
